Berona is an attractive flat, square-edged fibre cement slate that is manufactured to the highest European standards. They are lightweight, pre-holed and are easy to handle and install. Berona slates are durable and an economical choice for all project types.
Berona slates are manufactured using portland cement together with a non-asbestos formulation of superior blended synthetic and cellulose fibres. The slates are pigmented during production and are fully compressed. Berona slates conform to class B in strength, the highest classification for fibre cement slates which are manufactured in accordance with European norm EN429 - the European standard for the manufacture of fibre cement slate. They are finished with a high-quality semi-matt acrylic coating to the top face and edges, with a tinted high-performance binder applied to the back face.
Berona slates are produced in accordance with ISO-9001 (quality management system), ISO-14001 (environmental management system) and carry the environmental protection declaration EPD-CEM-2012211.
