McMahons Building & Home Improvement Centre is the largest independent Builders Providers in Ireland. We provide quality products and materials
for infrastructural, commercial, new builds & home improvement projects in a manner that earns our customers lifetime loyalty.
We have 12 Branches situated all over Ireland. 3 Branches in Northern Ireland and 9 in Southern Ireland.

WHO CAN SHOP IN MCMAHONS?
All of our stores are open to the general public and the trade. We pride ourselves on our extensive product range that caters to all our customers from the
professional builder to the DIY Homemaker no matter how small or big the project.
I WISH TO CONTACT MCMAHONS. HOW DO I DO THIS?
If you wish to contact McMahons through the website, you can fill in the form on the Contact Us Page. If you wish to contact a specific branch, you can use our Store Locator, which will give you all the contact details of each branch.
You can also contact us through our FaceBook Page. Visit the Facebook page and type your message. We aim to respond within 24hrs of messaging.
HOW DO I GO ABOUT SETTING UP A TRADE CREDIT ACCOUNT?
We make applying for a Credit account very simple - we want your business. You can download the application form here from our website. You then post the form back to, or hand to, your nearest branch.
Application forms are also available from your local branch or you can request an application form to be sent to you by email.

I'M NOT HAPPY WITH THE SERVICE IN A STORE, WHAT CAN I DO?
At McMahons Builders Providers we endeavor to do everything we can to provide excellent customer service.
You can Contact the Manager of any store by email, phone, fax or in person. All Contact Details are provided on our Contact Us Page.

All vacancies we have in any of our stores will be advertised in the Careers section of our website.
We offer a wide range of challenging opportunities from Counter Sales, Administration, Accounts, Sales Representatives, Yard / Warehouse Operatives, Transport / Delivery, Purchasing, and Managerial roles.
CAN I PLACE AN ORDER OVER THE TELEPHONE WITH MY NEAREST STORE?
If you ring your local store and ask to speak to one of our sales team, you can place your order over the telephone, and they will assist you with any queries.
WHAT KIND OF PRODUCTS DO YOU STOCK?
We stock a wide range of products from the pegs, lime, and tape needed for the initial marking out of your house to the doors, floors, and decorating materials needed to make your house into a home. All our product categories can be viewed online including:

CAN I BUY ONLINE?
Yes, we have a modern online shop service. Our full product range can be viewed on this website.
Some of the products we stock, our more bulky items, you may not be able to buy online. It will be clearly marked on the product whether you can buy online, buy in store only or both.
If you require an item but it is not available for online sale, then call your local store to order. Alternatively use the Get a Quote feature to request the item and a call back from your local store.
HOW DO I BUY ONLINE?
Search for the item you want using the search facility or by searching the product categories.
Add the items to your shopping basket.
When you have the items you want click go to checkout
You can purchase as a guest or register your details for payment.
After registration, you will be taken to the payment screen. Follow the payment instructions carefully.
After your payment has gone through, you will receive a confirmation email.
THE ITEM I WANT CAN ONLY BE BOUGHT IN-STORE. CAN I RESERVE THIS ONLINE?
Unfortunately, items cannot be reserved online. However, you can add your items to the wishlist, which will list the products you want to buy with their codes and prices. This will make it very easy and quick to purchase the items in-store.
WHAT IS THE WISHLIST AND HOW DO I USE IT?
If you want to view our products online, but you don't want to make a purchase online, the Wishlist allows you to save a list of products in one place, your smartphone/tablet. It makes the transaction very quick and easy when presented in-store as all product codes, prices and the quantities you want will be on your wishlist.
DO I NEED TO REGISTER TO BUY ONLINE?
No, you will not need to register with us to start buying online. You can buy online as a "Guest".
Registering is a very simple and quick process. Registering means you don't have to enter your details every time you shop with us.
It also allows you to save your wishlists and shopping baskets for another time, and to better manage your online shopping.
WHEN WILL MY ORDER BE DELIVERED?
All orders are received and processed on the same day. The delivery normally takes 2-3 working days. However, there may be some items where you may have to wait longer. These items will be clearly marked with a delivery time of 10- 14 days.
WHERE DO YOU DELIVER TO?
Our courier service delivers only to the island of Ireland.
CAN I SPECIFY A DELIVERY DATE WHEN ORDERING?
No, unfortunately, you can't specify a delivery time. You will receive a notification of when your order has been dispatched and the order will be delivered within 2 - 3 days.
HOW DO I KNOW IF MCMAHONS HAS RECEIVED MY ORDER?
Once your order is placed, you will receive an email to let you know we have received it. You will also get an email when we have dispatched your order with the expected delivery date
DO I HAVE TO SIGN FOR MY DELIVERY?
Yes, our delivery service requires a signature for every delivery, this ensures that we can track any order, and have confirmation from the customer that you have received your order.
CAN I TRACK MY ORDER?
We use the courier service of Fastway Couriers. Their website Fastway Tracking allows you to track the progress of your delivery. Once your order has been dispatched, we will send you a confirmation email with your delivery tracking number.
ARE RECEIPTS SENT WITH DELIVERY?
Yes, you will receive a receipt with your order. Ensure you keep your receipt as you will need it if you need to returns goods.
CAN I RETURN AN ITEM AND GET A REFUND?
We accept all returns if the item has not been damaged and you have a receipt. The refund amount will go back to the card you paid with.
HOW CAN I PAY FOR MY ORDER?
We offer Pay Pal as a method of payment as well as debit and credit cards secured by Sage Pay. All transactions are encrypted to the highest global standards.
I'VE NOT RECEIVED MY ITEM, WHAT DO I DO?
You can track your item using our courier service tracking system. Visit Fastway Tracking and enter the tracking number that you received in your email confirming dispatch. If you did not receive a confirmation email, please contact us directly on 1800 441 443.
I FORGOT MY LOGIN DETAILS, CAN I RESET MY PASSWORD?
If you have forgotten your password, you can use our "Forgot Password" facility under the "My Account" tab on our homepage. Enter your email address, and we will email you a link to reset your password.
DO YOU OFFER ANY DISCOUNT OFFERS?
Any special offers or discounts that we will be promoting will be on our homepage or in or our clearance section. You can also sign up to our "Email Offers", which will mean you will hear about these offers first. Also, keep an eye out for our special categories informing you of offers on products throughout the site.
I CANNOT DOWNLOAD THE PDF BROCHURES
If you cannot download or view a brochure, you may need to download PDF Viewing software on your machine. This can be Foxit PDF or Adobe PDF.

CAN I REMOVE MY ACCOUNT?
Yes, if you wish to be removed from our web sales account, please email: customerservice@jmcmahon.com and it will be processed right away.
THE SEARCH BAR IS GIVING ME NO RESULTS? AM I DOING SOMETHING WRONG?
Our Search facility is highly sophisticated and a leader in delivering high-quality results for Online shopping, making your shopping experience more enjoyable. It scans all of the text on the site in search of your specified keywords, through our Natural Language Site Search function and gives you back the results you are looking for. If it is not returning any results you may have to choose a more general keyword or contact us with any issues you may have with our Search and we will aim to improve it.
I AM NOT HAPPY WITH THE SERVICE ONLINE, WHAT CAN I DO?
