Knauf soundshield plus is the ideal plasterboard where sound reduction is of particular importance. Its high mass and tuned core give enhanced acoustic performance, excellent fire resistance and severe duty impact rating when used as part of a Knauf performer, isolator or silent spacesaver partition system.

When used as part of a Knauf system, soundshield plus will give up to 120mins of fire protection and up to 54db (Rw) acoustic sound reduction. This performance is fully tested and backed with a Knauf system performance warranty, providing warranties for the building and peace of mind for the client.

• The combined performance characteristics of the board make it ideal for use in high traffic areas such as schools, corridors and hospitals
• The board should be installed using Knauf performance plus screws and can be finished using the full range of Knauf jointing and finishing products include Knauf airless finishes
• Soundshield plus can be recycled with other gypsum products
