Fleetwood handy brush made with synthetic bristles is better suited to latex (water-based) paint because natural bristles soak up water, becoming limp and less effective. Low- and no-VOC (volatile organic compound) paints, most of which are acrylic latex based, are also best applied with this handy brush. It has a flat beavertail plastic handle that is rounded and slightly flattened to fit perfectly into the palm of the hand while painting. Handy brush has a solid round tapered style filaments that has a larger diameter at the ferrule end and narrows to a smaller diameter at the opposite end to hold more paint and produce a smooth, flawless and excellent finish. The Fleetwood handy brush can last for years if cleaned and dried thoroughly after every use. Make sure to remove excess paint, wash with soapy water, rinse in fresh water, and let it dry on a flat surface. It is ideal for all paints and are best to use on small, narrow areas such as window areas, trim, and corners.
