Bat Metalwork Truss Clip - 38 mm

The Bat truss clip eliminates all the disadvantages of skew nailing; damaged connector plates; split rafters or wall plates. With skew nailing a satisfactory fixing cannot be guaranteed. Bat truss clips provide a safe positive fixing on two planes. By fixing Bat 30 mm x 9 smg square twisted sheradised nails through all the holes provided in the Bat truss clip, it will resist an uplift on trusses up to 11 m span, spaced at 600 mm centres, in areas with a basic wind speed not exceeding 46 m per second.

Alternative fixing for trusses other than 38 mm, use Bat framing anchors, types A(L) and A(R). Manufactured from 1 mm hot dipped Galvanised mild steel to BS EN 10142: 1991, DX 51D+Z275.
